The SF1Edit release candidate can be found in the xEdit Discord in #xedit-builds. Every xEdit release since 2018 has a Discord button at the top right. Click that button for your invite.
The SF1Edit public release will be hosted at the Nexus and GitHub when ready. The release candidate is for developers, testers, and early adopters.
You can rename xEdit.exe to SF1Edit.exe, or you can run xEdit.exe with the -sf1 argument, to run xEdit in Starfield Edit mode.
You can drag-and-drop compatible values into fields and, when comparing records, across records. You can also pin a record and drag-and-drop Form IDs from the tree into the pinned record.
Close xEdit. You will be prompted to save.
